In addition, on Friday teachers and students are invited to participate in a Walk for Water walkathon during academy class.  Icy pops will be sold for $1.00 while the students are walking the track!  Students are also selling handmade bracelets for $2.00.

Nominate Your Favorite Teacher

The Herald's annual Favorite Teacher contest is going on right now.  The deadline for nominations is midnight April 22nd.
Each year, The Herald and heraldonline.com invite students to submit essays nominating their favorite teachers for the honor.  A panel of Herald employees examines the nominations; up to 18 winners will be chosen.
We're hoping to make the nomination process a little easier this year, so entries must be submitted through the online form, which is also available  at www.heraldonline.com.
Any student can nominate his or her favorite teacher for the 2015-16 school year. Nominations must be current; a student cannot nominate a teacher he or she had in a previous school year. Nomination essays must be in the student’s own words.
